Meet the Presenters:
Jennifer Jenkins-Boitnott, LPC
Jennifer is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensed in the state of Virginia. Jennifer is an EMDRIA Certified therapist, EMDRIA Approved Consultant, and the Owner of Simply Rewire. Simply Rewire is an EMDRIA Approved Credit Provider #23026.
Since 2021, Jennifer has focused on providing Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy intensives at her private practice Sea Glass LLC in Richmond, Virginia. In addition to her clinical work, Jennifer provides training and consultation to fellow EMDR therapists on refining their EMDR skills and growing their EMDR services in private practice.
After completing her basic EMDR training in 2016, Jennifer knew that EMDR was the missing piece she had been searching for to help her clients heal from trauma and stress. In 2020, when Jennifer started learning about EMDR Intensives, again it was clear this was another missing piece to bring accelerated healing to her clients and flexibility into her work life.
Melanie Stoudt, LPC
Melanie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensed in the state of Virginia. Melanie is an EMDR Certified Therapist, EMDR Consultant, and the Founder/Owner of Melanie M Stoudt LLC.
Melanie has been in private practice since 2001 and an EMDR therapist since 2009. Demonstrating expertise in the field of complex trauma and dissociation, Melanie utilizes somatic techniques, parts work, Polyvagal theory, and a relational approach within her EMDR practice. Melanie incorporates her attuned, compassionate presence with an engaging, clear teaching style.
Melanie provides EMDR Intensives to clients impacted by challenges, such as complex trauma, dissociation, anxiety, attachment wounds, loss, and recent traumatic events. Further, she provides EMDR consultation for therapists seeking EMDRIA Certification and Consultant status, as well as treatment approaches for complex cases, such as clients with dissociation and pre-verbal and developmental trauma.
